Linked Roller Blinds for Smooth Operation and Privacy Control
The Balmoral Pyrite Light Filtering Blind is an excellent choice for cohesive styling in shared spaces, perfectly complementing its blockout counterpart. Crafted from 100% polyester and stiffened with acrylic, it diffuses natural light while ensuring daytime privacy. With a width of 3,000mm, a weight of 220gsm, and a thickness of 0.55mm, this fabric offers a visual light transmission of 39% and meets EN 410 and EN 14501 standards for solar performance. It boasts a Blue Wool Scale light fastness of ?5 and is flame retardant to the Building Code of Australia (Class 2 to 9), making it suitable for both residential and commercial settings. Ideal for linked roller blinds, this fabric is easy to maintain with light cleaning. It is particularly effective for wide windows and sliding doors, offering smooth operation and a contemporary appearance. The linked roller blind system provides excellent light control, UV protection, and privacy, and is compatible with blockout, sunscreen, or light-filtering fabrics. Key features include a track-mounted design, wand or motorised operation, and coordinated fabric ranges, making it a versatile window treatment option for homeowners, designers, and specifiers seeking interior shading with a minimalist design and thermal efficiency.
Product FAQs
View all FAQsAbsolutely! Linked roller blinds are perfect for extra-large windows and bi-fold doors, allowing you to control up to three blinds with a single motor. Check out our guide on how to measure bi-fold doors for the best fit.
Follow our Linked Roller Blind how to measure guide to gain accurate measurements for your space.
The easiest fix for blinds that don't line up is to roll them all the way down then back up again. Once you've done this your blinds should be lined up.
Do you have different fabrics for your linked blinds? Sometimes your blinds can get slightly out of alignment due to the different thicknesses of your fabrics.
To fix this roll your blinds all the way down until you see the bare, aluminium tubes. Grab some masking tape and add a strip of tape the whole way across the metal tube of the slower blind(s). This increases the thickness of the slow blind(s) to match the thickness of the quicker blind(s). Roll all your blinds up again and check if your blinds are lined up.
