Before you get going
Panel glide blinds require the track to go past the window frame to enable the panels to clear the glass when open, letting more light in and not hindering your view. For this reason panel glide blinds can be only face fitted to allow for this overhang.
It's completely up to you, how you configure your panel glide blinds. See bottom of page for all the options.
'Normal' for us means between 600 mm and 4800 mm wide, and 900 mm to 3300 mm high. If your window is wider than 4800 mm jump across to our linked blinds, which can span up to 12 metres.
Our panel glide blinds attach to most surfaces, though it's always best to do your homework. Wooden window frames and wall studs are by far the easiest to attach to.

OK it's time to start measuring
Let's take it step by step
Measuring up is easy; we just need to know three things: your width and your drop measurements, and your track option. Here's how to do it:
Measure your width
Measure the exact outside width of your window frame across the top, and write it down.
Then then add 300 mm - 600 mm on the side on which you intend to have them stack when open to enable the panels to clear the glass and let more light in. This measurement will be your blind width.
Example: your window width measures 1810 mm. You'll add 400 mm, and then give us 2210 mm.
Measure your drop
A
Measure the height of your window frame from the top of the frame down to where you’d like the blind to finish, and write it down.
B
For shorter drop window’s we recommend that you take the blind 50 mm - 100 mm below the sill. Watch for any obstructions such as a desk or bed.
C
For full length windows we recommend that you measure to 10 mm off the floor. This will give enough clearance and allow the blind to have room to settle overtime.
Choose your track option
Select from our track sizes that will allow an overhang of at least 300mm on one side and approximately 100mm on the other. The overhang can vary on personal preference or window size, and is purely a guide for achieving a better coverage.
See bottom of page for all the options.
