Eyre is a softly textured sheer fabric that brings a calming, organic feel to interiors. Woven from 73% recycled polyester, 23% cotton, and 4% polyester, it combines a natural, linen-inspired appearance with the practical benefits of a synthetic blend. The plain weave and gently slubbed texture offer a relaxed aesthetic that’s ideal for coastal, modern, transitional, and rustic interior styles. The 320cm continuous width makes Eyre particularly well-suited to full-length drapes, reducing visible seams and enhancing its light, flowing appearance. With soft neutral shades like Barley, Brume, Marllow, and Oyster, this fabric blends seamlessly into living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, and open-plan spaces that benefit from soft daylight and a sense of airiness. Tested to meet the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Eyre is free of harmful substances and offers excellent durability and performance. It provides lightfastness (6–7), strong resistance to rubbing, and minimal dimensional change during laundering or hanging. While not inherently flame-retardant, it has achieved a low flammability profile under AS/NZS 1530.3 with zero ignition and flame spread. Suitable for use in drapery, roman blinds, and lampshades, Eyre offers a balance of sustainable composition, subtle texture, and natural light diffusion.
