Burano Sheer S-Fold Curtain

Eggshell

Burano's natural linen with a two-tone weave offers a self-weighted drape and generous width, ideal for S-fold or wave curtains, ensuring smooth movement and consistent wave formation. Its soft, warm white with creamy undertones complements minimalist and coastal interiors, while its stacking behaviour and fullness enhance track-mounted styles like ceiling-fixed tracks and flowing pleats. Though primarily suited for wave systems, it also adapts well to pleated styles such as pinch pleat or pencil pleat.

Timeless, Elegant Sheer Curtain with Natural Linen Fibres

The Burano Eggshell Sheer Curtain is perfectly suited for S-fold curtains, offering wave consistency and a fluid drape that enhances any space. Its soft, lightweight fabric and plain, yarn-dyed weave create flowing pleats and ripple folds, ensuring a seamless and elegant appearance. The continuous fabric design allows for smooth, soft movement along ceiling-mounted or track systems, providing a sophisticated and timeless addition to your home. The curtain's open construction and beautifully soft finish contribute to a luxurious yet relaxed vibe, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a refined aesthetic. In addition to its suitability for S-fold and wave-style curtains, the Burano Eggshell Sheer Curtain is also compatible with other styles such as double pinch pleat, triple pinch pleat, and pencil pleat. The natural linen fibres offer a tactile texture and organic feel, while tailored folds and pleat definition enhance the curtain's versatility. Whether used on traditional track or pole-mounted systems, the gathered headings and stackability of this sheer curtain ensure it integrates seamlessly into various interior styles, providing both functionality and elegance.

Product FAQs

Blockout curtains typically block out more heat than blinds when curtains are installed into pelmets or dropped ceilings, and curtain drapes are installed past the window opening on all four sides. This prevents heat from entering the room and cool air from escaping out the window because curtains can cover a larger surface area, not just the window opening.

S-fold curtains offer a modern and elegant look, with a smooth gliding operation and an even fabric fall that provides a clean and structured appearance.

You can absolutely layer sheer curtains with blockout curtains or other options. Depending on your windows and requirements you can choose:

Double curtains
Blockout roller blinds or other blinds behind sheer curtains
Plantation shutters behind sheer curtain

During the day, sheer curtains allow you to see outside while also blocking people outside from looking in.

This is because with sheer curtains you can only see from the darker side into the brighter side. This does mean that if it’s night time and the lights are on inside then it’s possible to see inside, so if your curtains are in a room that faces onto a street or public areas, we recommend pairing with a blockout roller blind or a luxurious double curtain which pairs a sheer curtain and blockout curtain.

All our curtains can make the room look bigger. Floor-to-ceiling curtains create a sense of scale, with long lines from the folds in the material drawing the eye yup. This is especially noticeable with curtains that have an S Fold as the fabric maintains a straight line all the way from floor to track. Sheer curtains are especially good at creating the illusion of more space because they allow plenty of natural light in.

We offer sheer curtains to suit any space, with our Designer Curtains, Curved Curtains and Box and Bay Curtains you can achieve a grand look for a great price.

You'll need some silicon spray for this one.

Open your curtains all the way, then apply a thin layer of silicon spray onto the tracks, especially where the pendants slide across. Take care not to spray your curtain fabric.

DO NOT machine wash your curtains - this will cause the fabric to shrink
Vacuum with a gentle bristle brush
Spot clean with no harsh chemicals
Annual professional dry clean

This can happen from time to time, and it's nothing to worry about.

If you just put up your new curtains, let them settle. With time the creases will just fall out, and warm weather helps too. Remember not to iron or steam them as it might damage the fabric.

If your curtains have lost their shape, you can easily refresh the S-Folds. Start by drawing your curtains open, then run your fingers from the top down to the bottom, guiding the fabric back into the neat S-folds created by the curtain heading. For best results, leave the curtains open for a couple of days so the fabric can relax and naturally fall back into place.

Yes — we always recommend ordering a sample before placing your order, as fabric colours can appear different in your home depending on lighting, wall colour, and flooring. Imagery is indicative only, and colours may vary in real life.

Please note: Warm-toned walls and flooring can make a fabric appear warmer in colour, whereas the same fabric paired with grey flooring and cool-toned walls may appear cooler in tone.
